Cancellation policy
a) 'Non Refundable' reservations: 100% deposit - No amount is refunded in case of cancellation.
b) 'Free Cancellation' reservations: 20% deposit.
- In case of cancellation up to 2 days before the date of arrival, the deposit is refundable.
- In case of cancellation in less than 2 days before the date of arrival or no show, 100% of the total amount will be charged to your credit card.
The rental company has the right to refuse the agreement if the driver is unsafe to drive for any reason (e.g. lack of skills, suspected alcohol use, etc.).
The rental company has the right to deny the agreement, charging full rental at last minute in case the driver does not have all the needed documents or does not have the proper age or the driving license has expired.
Drivers Age: Minimum 21 years old and maximum 75 years old. For drivers aged 21 and 22, as well as those aged 71 to 75, an additional premium applies.
Driver's license: Valid international or national car driving license held at least one year. Photocopies or photographs are not acceptable by the authorities.
Card: The renter's credit or debit card is mandatory and necessary for guarantee purposes. We accept VISA, Mastercard and Maestro.
Guarantee: For the small, medium and economy vehicle categories and for drivers aged 23 to 73 and if C.D.W or S.C.D.W insurance has been selected, there is NO need to reserve an amount on the debit or credit card. For the SUV and 7-SEATER categories, an amount equal to the amount of the exemption is reserved.
Kilometres: Unlimited Kilometreσ is included in our rates.
Vehicle rental: Pricing is calculated both by day (24 h) and by the hour. In case of a delay in return of more than one hour from the time indicated in the contract, an additional full day of rental will be charged.
Vehicle insurance:
i) C.D.W. Insurance (Collision Damage Waiver) reduces the customers' liability in the event of damage to the amount of the exemption and is only valid if the vehicle is driven in accordance with the Highway Code regulations. In the event of damage/accident, the company must be informed immediately. If the company is not informed at the time of the damage/accident, the C.D.W. insurance may not be valid.
ii) S.C.D.W. (Super Collision Damage Waiver) insurance limits customers’ liability in the event of damage to the amount of the deductible and is valid only if the vehicle is driven in accordance with the Highway Code. In the event of damage or an accident, the company must be notified immediately. If the company is not notified at the time of the damage or accident, the S.C.D.W. insurance may not apply.
Off-road driving / Dangerous driving: Dangerous driving and off-road driving are not permitted. Damage from stones, rocks, etc., to the underside of the vehicle are not covered by C.D.W/S.C.D.W insurance.
Alcohol: According to the Greek Traffic Code, driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances is expressly prohibited. In this case, there is no insurance coverage.
Fuel Policy: Fuel is not included in the price. The renter must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as the vehicle was in when they picked it up. If the renter returns the vehicle with less fuel, the difference in fuel will be charged. There is no refund if the renter returns the vehicle with more fuel than was delivered. If you wish, you can choose to pick up your vehicle with a full tank and return it with an empty tank for an additional fee.
Illegal parking / fines: Any charges for illegal parking or violation of the Traffic Code are the responsibility of the driver of the rented vehicle only. In case of non-payment, the driver will be notified by the Municipality of Thira with any surcharges.
Extra driver: The first extra driver is free of charge.
Pets-Animals: Pets and animals are not allowed to be transported in our vehicles. If you wish to transport your pet, you must bring the special transport cage with you.
Vehicle cleaning fee: If you return the car very dirty, then you will be charged €60 (including VAT) for cleaning the vehicle.
Ferrying: It is not permitted to transport the car to any other island or mainland without the written permission of our company with the seal and signature of the person responsible.
Taxes: V.A.T. & All Local Taxes included.
